I guess I'll get the ball rolling here... Hopefully I remember the characters and such correctly...
Who was your favorite character? Uh.... crap I can't remember... I think it was the guy she dated but didn't end up with... either him or the girl that was really into the crystals? Shit... I'm going to have to re-read it -_-
Which part of the book did you like the best? - Spoiler:
I thought it was awesome how she used the whole beach at the end to defeat the dude! Very clever!
I also uber enjoyed the witch part of it! She portrayed it so awesomely, even with the extra umph she added for story's sake! It was just awesome! And I reeeeeaaaaaaallly liked how she didn't make each person Earth, Fire, etc, they were each individuals with just certain pulls in certain areas! Superness!!
Did you like the ending? Of course!
- Spoiler:
But it PISSED ME OFF SO MUCH that they didn't get together until the last page or so *grumbles*
Were you able to predict what was going to happen or did things surprise you? - Spoiler:
I knew they'd get together... lol I knew as soon as they mentioned the bad guy that he was her dad
they made that part pretty obvious in my opinion... OH and I also knew
- Spoiler:
that... CRAP what were their names?? The really blonde/good chick and the darker/evil chick, that they were both "connected" and that they were like two halves of that little girl in the flashback...?
This is hard when you don't remember the specifics lol...
Did you like the writing style and how the author went about things? Yes, but I was a wee disappointed that the main character chick was such a...
girl lol She was a bit too immature for my liking in most of the book, but it
is a teen book, so I guess I can't really complain *shrugs* But yea, the author kept me interested, kept things moving, that was nice!
Is there anything you wish would have happened that didn't? Kind of... I wish they would have gotten together earlier!
- Spoiler:
It pissed me off when... I swear her name starts with an F... the light/good chick almost told the main chick that she could have (Adam? was that his name?? *arg*) but then changed her mind so the main chick could 'prove it to herself' POPPYCOCK!! I wanted them together in the book, so we could see them together and how they all acted... I'm a hopeless romantic so I can't stand it when they're not together until the last second...
it's ridiculous lol
What didn't you like about the book? Other than the above-mentioned, nothing!
I loved it! I really enjoyed how they went about the magical stuff! Not too hokey, and just the right amount of punch and over-the-top to give it that edge and make it a great story! I LOOOOOVED the whole plot line where they meet randomly and they both know they're connected that strongly *swoon* haha
Love love LOVE it!!
Any characters you found annoying or didn't like other than the main bad guy? I wanted to fucking punch the dark/evil chick, but I'm assuming we all did -_- Stupid punk bitch! *khi khi*
Anything else: On the note of that biotch,
- Spoiler:
it sort of irked me that the main chick went along with her crap for so long! Maybe it's just me, but I would have no problem choosing 'turning myself in' over maybe unleashing some evil entity and hurting/getting people killed!
HELL-O!
But all-in-all I really really enjoyed the books! There aren't enough spiffy witch books that don't totally blow everything out of proportion and make it all cliche and stupid! *hoo-ha*
